   SERAFINA RODRIGUEZ ♛ THE FIRE QUEEN B U R N T H E M A L L I F Y O U H A V E T O — queen | cabal cálido | miami, the bottom of florida — a relatively young cabal born out of a historically unstable area, cálido is something of a 'ragdoll' cabal, having collected its members from the remains of the defeated cabals that previously existed in the area. this has bred a strong sense of loyalty amongst the members, who consider themselves saved and given purpose again, where other cabals would have just killed them. all the queen asks is that they leave their pasts, previous disciplines and names behind. cabal cálido has managed to get hold of an impressive amount of territory and is slowly working on gaining more to the north, but with odd and unanchored beginnings, most expect it to quickly go the way of its predecessors. if serafina has her way though, that's not going to happen. no, if she has her way, florida is going to be only filled with members of cabal cálido. her mother had told her about the other cabals that had tried to pull this off and even she's seen a few of the cabals try and fail to unite florida under one cabal banner. the nice thing about knowing what went wrong, though, is that she doesn't make the same mistakes. sure, sometimes she wants to make roast witch out of some of the people in the territories the cabal takes over, but really, what queen doesn't. serafina knows how to get other witches to do what she wants and even if that fails, she's always got her aces up her sleeves, but really, she trusts conquered witches to make the right decision. death by fire at her hands or a nice place to live under her are the choices. and that's not much of a contest, really. |
